How To Make It

Potato Curry Soup Noodles (Mee Rebus)

1) Blend taucu separately with a few tablespoon of water, into a fine paste. Set aside.

2) Boil sweet potato, drain water and blend into a puree with ¼ cup water. Set aside.

3) Boil spaghetti or blanch noodles according to packet’s instructions with extra 4 minutes cooking time. Toss everything around and set aside.

4) Boil 450g beef slices  in 4 cups of water until fully cooked for 30 minutes until 1 hour. Toss the beef and set aside the meat broth for soup later.

5) Heat a deep pan or a pot with 3 tablespoon oil on medium heat. Add in Cheffaro® Curry Laksa Paste. Cook for 10 minutes until it becomes thick and shiny. Always stir to prevent it from getting burnt.

6) Add in beef slices. Stir everything together to coat the meat well with the mixture. Add in meat broth and stir everything. Bring it to a gentle boil and cover the pan with a lid. Cook for about 30 minutes.

7) Add in sweet potato puree, previously blended taucu and sugar. Stir everything together and lastly add in lemon juice. Cook for 2-3 minutes so that all the flavours are well combined. Serve immediately with spaghetti or blanch noodle in a bowl.

Tip : Serve it together with fried tofu, boiled bean sprout, red chilli and hard boiled egg.
